Virginie, the artist behind the pieces from VirginieMartinStudio, is from Marieville; a small town near Montreal in Canada. She collected precious jewelry for a long time when she started her education at l’École de Joaillerie de Montréal (The School of Jewelry of Montreal). In this place, between books and tools she had a revelation: her future would be filled with stones, noble metals and passion.
When talking about her work, Virginie says : ´´Most of my work is unique. I choose a stone that speaks to me and then I let my imagination work around it.“. That is maybe why her pieces has such a special shine, because they are made with heart.
When not unique, her pieces are all made in very limited editions and definitely deserve to be appreciated and show off. The cutest detail comes in the packaging: All the pieces are send inside a cute handmade clutch.
